Authors should prepare their manuscripts in accordance with the journals authors guidelines. The journal reserves the right to make any further formal changes and language corrections necessary in a manuscript accepted for publication so that it conforms to the requirements of the journal.
Editorial/Peer Review Process
A manuscript will be considered for evaluation with the understanding that it is being submitted to International Journal of Medicine and Biomedical Research only at that point in time and has not been published anywhere, simultaneously submitted, or already accepted for publication elsewhere, and also that the content of the manuscript is original and all passages from published works are accorded due attribution.
A corresponding author who relates to the journal office in matters related to the manuscript is required.
All manuscripts received are duly acknowledged. Manuscripts are initially evaluated for suitability for further peer review. Manuscripts that are outside the scope of the journal, contain plagiarized contents, or short of the journal's standard are rejected.
Suitable manuscripts are peer-reviewed by at least two reviewers who are vast in the field and are not affiliated with the contributors' institutions. However, selection of reviewers is at the sole discretion of the editor. The journal follows a single-blind review process. The comments and recommendations of the reviewers are conveyed to the corresponding author. The author is requested to respond to reviewers' comments and submit a revised version of the manuscript. This process is repeated till reviewers and editors are satisfied with the manuscript.
The papers submitted must meet the following criteria:
1. the title should reflect the content of the manuscript
2. the content must fall within the scope of the journal
3. the abstract should be adequately informative and suitable to appear on its own
4. the content should be original
5. the methodology used should be ethical, scientific, and reproducible
6. results should be clearly interpreted and supported with data/photographs
7. data should be logically discussed
8. conclusions should be rationale, concise and based on the findings
9. references should be adequate
International Journal of Medicine and Biomedical Research review process is constructive and unbiased. Reasons for rejection include:
1. out of journal's scope
2. too preliminary
3. lack of novelty
4. evidence of plagiarism, redundancy, or other form of fraudulence
Manuscripts accepted for publication are copy-edited and page proofs are sent to the corresponding author for final correction. The corresponding author is expected to return the corrected proofs within five days.
